Like just about anything else with a motor, people love to race motorcycles. While you can bring most any sportbike or standard motorcycle to your local racetrack for a trackday event, some people take things a step further and prefer to have a motorcycle just for track use. Some manufacturers offer purpose-built machines designed solely to be run on racetracks. In most cases these are high-tech, high-price machines designed to get you to the finish line as quickly as possible. Instead of investing in a race-specific machine, some owners with a little mechanical savvy choose to convert a normal sportbike specifically for track use.
