Scooters

Scooters include the iconic Vespa PX, Honda PCX, Aprilia Scarabeo, Yamaha Vino, Kymco Downtown 300i and the three-wheeled Piaggio MP3.
Scooters can be thought of as the little brother of the motorcycle world. What’s unique about scooters is the fact that the engine is usually under the seat and directly attached to the rear axle. This allows the rider to not have to straddle the engine but puts a limitation on rear suspension quality. Typically scooters feature lower displacement, automatic engines and have bodywork to conceal all the mechanicals. Scooters make great short-distance commuters and are ideal for running around town. Scooters are generally inexpensive compared to motorcycles and fuel economy can be outstanding, which may help explain why scooters dominate the two-wheeled landscape in Europe and Asia.
