Kymco Motorcycles

Kymco motorcycles include the Quannon 150 entry-level sportbike, and a range of scooters including the Xciting 500Ri and Downtown 300i maxi-scooters, Grandvista 250 touring scooter and small-displacement Super 8 scooters.
Kymco (Kwang Yang Motor Co, Ltd) is one of the world’s top producers of scooters. The Taiwanese manufacturer offers one of the deepest scooter lineups in the industry, but has also made forays into the world of low-displacement motorcycles with its Venox 250 cruiser and Quannon 150 sportbike. When it was founded in 1963 the company made parts for Honda. By 1970, however, it produced its first scooter and started using the KYMCO brand name in 1992. Kymco has working relationships with companies like Kawasaki Heavy Industries and BMW. In fact, BMW contracted Kymco to make engines for its G450X enduro bike in 2008.
